Bengal became the center of action after the demise of the Mughal dynasty in Delhi and the Sultanate in Bengal after the arrival of the Europeans, especially the British. Bengal became the birthplace of many great luminaries whose contributions are immense in getting independence from Britain and in Bharat's spiritual, cultural, and scientific development and progress. We try to shed light on these luminaries from a modern perspective by scholars and experts from around the world.
